Yeah Maybe, No: a documentary about consent

Monday, October 26, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Vollum lecture hall
This event is open to the public.

Please join us on Monday, October 26, at 7 p.m. in Vollum lecture hall for the premiere of Yeah Maybe, No, a new documentary based on the real-life experiences of a Reed student. This event is hosted by Consent is Reed and Reed SAPR Advocates.

Yeah Maybe, No is a story about sex, love, and shifting definitions of consent. The film cuts through the anger and fear that surrounds sexual violence to let a survivor tell his story in his own words. Through compassion and empathy, it takes an honest look at a deeply troubling problem.

Followed by discussion with the filmmaker, Kelly Kend ’05, an advocate for male survivors, and a therapist who works with them. Advocates will be available at the event.

Kelly has allowed us to open the event to the public, so please feel free to invite non-Reedies who might be interested.
