Campus Announcements

It is with sadness (for us at the bookstore) but also with happiness (for Jules) that I want to let you know that the rumors are true: After 16 years at the bookstore, Jules is headed for new adventures—her last day is Wednesday, July 6. 

Jules has been a great asset for both the bookstore and the college. With her creativity, artistic flair, and fashion sense, Jules has done wonders for our clothing, gifts, and general merchandise departments and we now have a much broader and more exciting selection than we used to. Similarly, she has helped many Reed offices and departments find just the right office supplies or gifts. 

Also, I am very pleased to announce that Liz Rutledge '12 is moving into Jules' position. Liz worked for the bookstore back when she was a Reed student and then re-joined us as the shipper/receiver after two years out in the "real world." She can be reached at rutledge@reed.edu or x7757.

Please stop by the bookstore this week or next Tuesday/Wednesday to extend your best wishes to Jules on her retirement (and to be introduced to Liz if you haven't met her yet).
